The Bangalow Poultry Club

The Bangalow Poultry Club has a reputation of being one of the most friendly and well organised Show and Auction, attracting exhibitors from South East Queensland, west of the range around Stanthorpe and Tenterfield and the Northern Rivers of NSW.

The pavilion holds 996 birds and the 2010 exhibition was the biggest show in club history with 1009 entries, (portable pens were brought in to house the waterfowl), and we had to turn away about 200 entries.

The club runs on time and to schedule so traveling exhibitors can be on the road to home at a reasonable time, as a lot of our exhibitors travel long distances.

We organize a friendly and well stocked canteen which provides a big Brekkie, morning tea and yummy luncheon with dedicated workers in attendance for the duration of the show.

The club's logo incorporates a beautiful Rosecomb Cockerel watercolour (as can be seen in the top left hand side of this page) which was hand painted in 1996 by Dean McKenzie - one of the club's life members.
